Who do we work with?
Spudnik Farms works with small and marginal farmers, often cultivating one to two acres of land, especially those from indigenous communities. Our network has 500+ farmers, a majority of whom are situated in Chikkaballapur, Nelamangala and Joida, Uttara Kannada.

Smallholder farmers often bear the brunt of extreme climate phenomena, perpetuating the cycle of food insecurity, income uncertainty and poverty. Our farmers are already experiencing the adverse effects of climate change, including changing rainfall patterns, increasing temperatures, and the risk of extreme weather events.
Our work focuses on building resilience among these farmers by equipping them with regenerative farming practices that not only help them adapt to a changing climate but also make farming a sustainable and viable livelihood.
We do this by (i) providing them a guaranteed market; (ii) offering them a fair price for produce, and (iii) creating demand predictability and encouraging better resource utilisation.

By subscribing to Spudnik farms, you help us support and encourage local farmers and contribute to their financial health and resilience. Our production model encourages diversity in cultivation, which is not only good for the soil, but also helps ease cash flow constraints for farmers since they can sell a different vegetable every week!
Subscriptions allow us to predict demand. By subscribing, you help us create a ready market for all produce grown by farmers and reduce wastage since production is based on real demand, and produce is valued for value flavour and nutrition, not aesthetics.
Subscriptions allow us to directly link farmers to you, and eliminate middlemen. By doing this, we are able to offer our partner-farmers a better than market price for the produce leading to better earnings . We actively promote sustainable farming practices through workshops and trainings to help them become self-reliant, encourage soil health and increase long-term farm productivity.
We need your support to ensure that we can continue the work we have begun. Each subscription counts in making sure we are able to stay true to our goals.
Subscribers receive a weekly basket of produce that includes staples, leafy greens, 5+ seasonal vegetables, a range of fruit and more! We have 5 unique subscription plans you can choose from and customise to best suit your family’s needs.
By subscribing to Spudnik Farms, you're not just eating better—you’re helping farmers become self-reliant & grow food that’s good for people & the planet.
